Blu Awarded Platinum Status

Blu Restaurant and Bar has been awarded Platinum certification, the highest level possible by the South Carolina Aquarium's Sustainable Seafood Initiative. The program is desinged to promote the use of local and sustainable seafood in South Carolina restaurants. Blu is one of six restaurants in Charleston with Platinum certification.

Gone to the Dogs

Daytime Television and Southern Living Magazine are partnering together to take a look at Charleston, one of their viewers’ and readers’ favorite cities. While filming in the Holy City the crews will head to Folly Beach to take a look at the eclectic town’s love of dogs. Filming will feature Folly Beach Holiday Inn’s pet friendly accommodations and the welcome mat the beach puts out for canines.
